T1 Line - Full
Did you know there are currently over 3 million T1 lines in use in the United States alone? A full T1 line is a 1.54 Mbps connection that transmits digital information at a rate of 1.54 megabits per second, and is relatively unaffected by distance. A full T1 line has 24 separate channels that can be allocated for either voice or data transmission, which allows some companies to offer an integrated T1 line. The T1 lines sold by T1Line.com are guaranteed and reliable bandwidth for companies that need mission critical bandwidth. A full T1 from one of our major T1 carriers is a prime choice for any company that relies on stable and dependable internet connectivity.

T1 line - Fractional
Fractional T1 lines are also available from T1Line.com, from almost every major T1 carrier. A "frac T1" is a basic T1 with some of the 24 channels that carry bandwidth turned off. Fractional T1 lines can carry bandwidth at variable speeds from 56k to 1.1 Mbps and allow you to turn on more channels if needed when your company grows. A frac T1 is a great choice for a small and growing company.

T1 line - Burstable/Metered
Burstable T1 lines are available from T1Line.com from some T1 carriers. A metered T1 is usually described as a full T1 that allows you to pay for the bandwidth that you use, typically in bursts. Burstable T1 lines are typically described as full T1 that can carry bandwidth up to 1.54 Mbps, but "idle" at a far lower bandwidth when no data is being transmitted across it. This enables bandwidth carriers to charge less for their T1s because they are saving space on their network. Metered T1s are cost effective only if you need maximum capacity a few times a month. Burstable T1s are for companies that do not require 1.54Mbps all of the time and prefer to save money.

Bonded (NXT1) 3.0 to 12Mbps
Bonded T1 lines, are available to businesses that need bandwidth above 1.5 Mbps (a single T1 bandwidth circuit) but don’t need the speed associated with DS3 access. Greater bandwidth is provided by load balancing traffic over multiple T1 links. A bonded T1 line, or NxT1, can connect up to eight T1 circuits for up to 12 Mbps of data transfer.

Fractional T3 Line
Fractional "T3" or "DS-3" lines are available from T1Line.com. A fractional T3 line is equivalent to a bundle of 28 T1s with many of the channels turned off. A T3 is not actually a bundle of T1s, though. Maximum capacity for a fractional T3 line can vary widely up to 45 Mbps, which is a full T3. A frac T3 is the ideal solution for a company that has very large, reliable bandwidth requirements less than 45Mbps.

Digital Subscriber Line (DSL)
A DSL is actually a group of technologies that enable access to digital communications via existing telephone lines. DSL essentially runs Internet connectivity alongside of traditional landline phone communications. Since DSL service operates on higher frequencies than Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS), the two can coexist on the same copper conductor. Learn more about DSL Service & Pricing
